September Gatherings: PDA Parenting Club, Beyond Behavior & Community Spaces
Neurodiversity-affirming spaces for the season ahead.
Parenting and caregiving are deeply relational journeys. When supporting neurodivergent children, having a grounded, affirming community changes everything. This September, we are opening doors to three dedicated gatherings designed for practical guidance, shared lived experiences, and supportive connection.
01
ONGOING COHORT & CIRCLE
The PDA Parenting Clubs
A collaborative, low-demand sanctuary for parents and caregivers navigating Pervasive Drive for Autonomy (PDA). Move away from conventional compliance models and step into relational trust, nervous system regulation, and sustainable family rhythms.
Format: Bi-weekly virtual circles, resource sharing, and continuous peer connection.
Details:
Preschool/Elementary School Mondays @ 12:00pm
Tween/Teen Mondays @ 5:00pm
02
WORKSHOP
Beyond Behavior Workshop
Look past surface expressions to understand underlying nervous system states, sensory processing needs, and unmet communication cues. This practical workshop equips families with neuro-affirming tools that honor each child's authentic identity.
Focus: De-escalation through safety, co-regulation strategies, and accommodation frameworks.
Details: Tuesday, September 22nd 6pm-7:30 via zoom.
03
COMMUNITY VIRTUAL GATHERING
LGBTQ+ Parents: Beyond Biology
An inclusive, affirming space celebrating the intersections of queer parenting and neurodivergent family life. An open conversation centering queer family creation, non-gestational parenthood, and thriving beyond traditional paradigms.
Access: Free community gathering with live transcription and community breakout rooms.
Details: 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:30pm-8:00pm via zoom.
OUR APPROACH
Rooted in connection, not compliance.
Every family's nervous system is unique. We are here to support your intuition, validate your experiences, and provide practical scaffolding for day-to-day life.
