1:1 Parenting Coaching

You love your kid. You just need help understanding what’s happening.

When parenting starts to feel like one long series of battles, it's easy to wonder what you're doing wrong—or what you're missing.

My 1:1 parenting coaching gives you a place to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the behavior, and figure out what your family actually needs.

I work with parents, caregivers, grandparents, and families of all kinds, including 2SLGBTQIA+ families.

Who I Work With

My primary work is with families raising autistic, ADHD, and PDA kids, particularly when traditional parenting strategies aren't working.

  • Meltdowns and shutdowns

  • Demand avoidance

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • School refusal and school challenges

  • Transitions

  • Executive functioning differences

  • Emotional regulation

  • Screens and technology

  • Family conflict

  • New diagnoses

  • Parent burnout

  • Advocacy and accommodations

I also support families navigating giftedness, gender-expansive and gender-creative children, LGBTQIA2S+ family life, and other experiences that don't fit neatly into traditional parenting models.

How We Work Together

I believe every behavior has meaning.

Instead of starting with “How do we make this behavior stop?” we start by asking, “What is happening underneath this?”

Together, we look at your child's nervous system, neurotype, environment, relationships, expectations, and unmet needs. From there, we experiment with responses that support your child's needs while also honoring the needs and boundaries of the whole family.

UNDERSTAND

Find the meaning beneath the behavior.

RESPOND

Parent for the child you actually have.

ADVOCATE

Help your child get what they need in the world.

BELONG

Find your people and know you're not alone.

My Training & Approach

My coaching is informed by my certification as a Connected Parenting™ Certified Coach, including the CALM method, as well as my Autism Support Coach certification, attachment-based practices, trauma-informed approaches, and nervous-system-informed work.

What We Might Work On

Understanding Your Child

What is underneath the behavior? What is their nervous system communicating? What are they experiencing that you may not be seeing?

Finding What Actually Works

We experiment with approaches around demands, transitions, screens, boundaries, school, regulation, and daily life.

Changing the Pattern

We look at the interaction between your child's nervous system and your own—not to blame either of you, but to understand where the cycle gets stuck.

Advocating Beyond Home

We can work on school communication, accommodations, extended family, and helping others understand your child's needs.

Supporting You, Too

There's room here for exhaustion, grief, frustration, uncertainty, and the reality that parenting can be really hard.

For families wanting more sustained support.

Many families work with me for 4–6 months. We can meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on what your family needs.

My goal isn't to keep you in coaching forever.

I want you to leave with more confidence in your ability to understand your child, respond to challenges, and advocate for your family.
